on and off campus marketing explosion

Founded on the belief that traditional college instruction can be improved upon, the Learning Community Institutes were modeled after the Evergreen State College curriculum. Learning Community classes provide students with a supportive “family unit” built around their classmates and instructors. Traditional subject classes are combined and team-taught. The Institutes sought to increase their enrollments and expand class offerings.

With a flourishing campus of 14,000 students, Institute classes were operating at minimum enrollment standards. Students had no knowledge of the Institutes, or the value of the education behind this modeled community of learning.

Our solution was to be bold with Guerilla Marketing Tactics, a series of classroom presentations and a redesign of all print, web and video collateral materials. A new presentation booth was designed to be bold, colorful and inviting in order to increase student interest at campus events.
